Description

SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER - WPF/WCF


  • Design, code, test and implement .NET solutions using WPF, WCF and
    ASP.NET.
  • Lead application design sessions, guiding the development team through translating requirements into a solid object design applying best practices and design patterns.
  • Serve as point person across teams throughout the Application Development division by providing direction and guidance to individual associates and project teams as assigned.
  • Analyze requirements, write design documents, write automated unit tests and test plans.
  • Work with the project manager and others in the division to implement best practices.
  • Interface with various groups in the division and within TJX that must come together to make projects successful.

  • 5+ years experience coding .NET solutions using C#.
  • 5+ years WinForms experience and at least 1 year WPF experience.
  • 3 + Web Services experience and at least 1 year WCF experience.
  • 3+ years leadership experience guiding teams through application design, using object oriented design techniques.
  • 2+ years of real-world experience implementing design patterns.
  • Solid knowledge of a major source control product, preferably TFS, and organizing / coordinating builds.
  • ASP.NET experience is a plus.
  • Must be competent coding SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, technical and analytical skills.
  • Retail systems experience desirable, but not required.
